Born and raised in Texas, I’ve been an outdoor enthusiast since childhood. Trail running in the state parks is my most recent outdoor endeavor. I started writing fiction later in life. I explore an individual’s independence and agency when they conflict with societal norms through novels and short-form fiction. I pivoted my career to storytelling after more than two decades in biotechnology. My other creative pursuits include watercolor painting and crochet. I live in Austin, Texas, with my husband, two cats, and far too many pictures of them on my phone.
